Taj Mahal Quartzite Stair Project
Taj Mahal quartzite stair treads and risers in a completed interior staircase, paired with a frameless glass balustrade and indoor planting. The warm stone tone softens the glass and white walls, and the quartzite hardness suits a surface that is walked on every day.
Stair components we supply
Treads, risers, landings and matching skirting can be cut to your stair drawing in 2 cm or 3 cm thickness, with eased, bullnose or square edges and an optional anti-slip groove or honed finish on the tread surface. Each flight is numbered piece by piece for straightforward installation.
Notes for stairs
For stairs we usually recommend a honed or leathered tread with a polished riser, which keeps the stone bright while improving grip. Confirm slip-resistance requirements with your installer, and tell us whether the stair is interior or exterior so we can advise on finish and thickness.
Photos show a specific slab or a completed project. Natural color and veining vary from block to block, so we send numbered photos of the actual slabs before you confirm an order.
